Tunefox is an innovative web and app-based learning tool designed to assist individuals in mastering bluegrass songs and licks for guitar, mandolin, banjo, and bass. Tunefox offers a range of exceptional features, including the skill slider, which allows songs to transition from simple to complex with a simple swipe. Each instrument provides a diverse array of styles to learn, such as Bluegrass, Fingerstyle, Crosspicking, Jazz, and Classical for mandolin and guitar, as well as Scruggs, melodic, and single-string for banjo. Additionally, Tunefox offers tunes spanning from classical to rock and roll, providing a multitude of options to keep learners engaged and inspired.


An impressive aspect of Tunefox is its switchable licks feature which enables users to learn authentic bluegrass vocabulary and gain new insights on implementing them into a tune. By learning a wide variety of licks, users can significantly expand their vocabulary for improvisation purposes.


Tunefox also offers limitless customization options for each song. Once users have mastered a basic arrangement, they can use the skill slider to gradually incorporate additional notes into their playing. It's like building a house: brick by brick, users can enhance their skills after laying a solid foundation. The vary slider allows for further customization by enabling users to select fill-in notes that complement their adapted arrangement. Moreover, Tunefox offers the ability to incorporate various licks from different styles and techniques into one's playing, resulting in a completely personalized experience. These customization features are available on the web version.
